Yes but I would like to see they come up on screen instead of logging into the system and tail -f the log files. The reasons being: 1. Quite a few reboots will happen post-installation after patches / packages being installed. So watching the messages scrolling on the screen is easier to watch the files. 2. user experience continuity.
