Hello Do you know if there is a way to use a ITU driver diskette during a jumpstart installation ?
I currently have 2 problems : 1) when I boot a x86 server using grub with the "install" kernel option, I do not go through the following menu that allow (with choice #5) to load a ITU driver diskette : 1. Solaris Interactive (default) 2. Custom JumpStart 3. Solaris Interactive Text (Desktop session) 4. Solaris Interactive Text (Console session) 5. Apply driver updates 6. Single user shell So I can't load the ITU diskette. Is there a "install itu" option (after the kernel filename and before the -B prop=value args) ? 2) With Solaris 10 x86 U2 6/06 when I boot without the "install" option, I can go through the above menu, but when I end the "apply driver updates" task after loading the drivers, I do not get back to the same menu, and I end up with an interactive installation, and thus no jumpstart profile usage possible. The ITU driver diskette is mandatory if the disk controller or ethernet adapter driver is not included in the solaris distribution. Thank you for your help This message posted from opensolaris.org
