No special reason. I was asking really just to see if there was any update on the timeline. I agree that the package related code was much more important to get out. There was some discussion previously on opensolaris-discus where people mentioned RFE's that they would like to see in the patch utilities. So I would expect that when they are made available that there will be interest. However people don't have a way to create patches at present so its understandable that there are not requests for binaries.
