Hi Ward, I am getting exactly the same errors that you have reported (keyboard freezes while installation, Cannot identify UART chip, error configuring bge0, etc) with my new nx6120 while trying to install the 1/06 version of Solaris 10.
You have mentioned that you could get around the problem by downloading the OS again & cutting a new disc. Can you please tell me if you downloaded the 6/06 version of Solaris 10 ? Just wanted to isolate if this was a problem with 1/06 version. I tried using the install_check as suggested by Dave, but even that freezes my keyboard.
