Solaris 10 now bundles with many open source software and install default with entire distribution install. I know it is very easy for developer system to be managed. But on enterprise environment where the security requirements are more restrictive is there a way to stripe down or not install open source packages which we do not need. Perhaps having a jumpstart key word might be a good option. Does SUN is working towards this.
