Is Suse on an extended partition?

Can you exit the solaris installer and run the following command and
attach the output:

# fdisk -W - /dev/rdsk/<diskname>p0

where <diskname> is the disk you're installing on, e.g. c0d0

It'll be interesting to see what solaris sees these partitions
to be.
