Not quite. If you use Live Upgrade, you can just go back and forth between the two partitions. For example, the system that I'm currently using is running snv_40 on the s1 partition. When I upgrade it to snv_42, it will go on s0, and that will be the partition that I boot off of. There's no "main OS instance" when you use Live Upgrade that way. cheers, mike
