Update Manager is not part of our consolidation, the other things above
are. What specifically will be open-sourced depends on the legal
review, as some portions contain 3rd-party code acquired under various
contracts. Ideally, all of it will be, but since we aren't at the point
of knowing that yet, I'd rather pass on being specific.

There surely will be prototypes down the road for testing, but that's
going to be some time yet.

We had some discussion about how to provide broader involvement
opportunities, but didn't get any really definite ideas for right now,
so part of my posting of what's going on is to perhaps trigger some
ideas. Anyway, there's going to be a bunch of UI design work that I
expect we'll be providing for feedback (which is a very iterative
process), so that's one thing; our new designer is just starting to pull
things together there, but it probably won't be too many weeks before
that's possible. We could certainly talk about involvement in the
investigation activities that are going on right now, it really depends
on what sort of time investment someone's able to make.
