Hi,
I am trying to install nv 35 to a Dell Latitude LS which has 256MB memory and a
Fujitsu MHK2960AT hard drive.
The install runs fine up to the point where it try's to build the file system
on the root device which fails.
Creating and checking UFS file systems
             - Creating / (c0d0s0)

ERROR: File system creation failed for / (c0d0s0)

ERROR: Could not check or create system critical file systems

mkdir: "/a/var/sadm/launcher": Read-only file system

I then reboot to a shell prompt from the install DVD.
I checked that we have a Solaris2 primary partition with fdisk.
Total disk size is 2864 cylinders
Cylinder size is 4096 (512 byte) blocks

                                                               Cylinders
Partition Status Type Start End Length %
    ======   =====    ======         ====  ===   =====   ===
         1 Active Solaris2 1 2863 2863 100

I also checked the Solaris partition table with format all looked fine.
Current partition table (original):
Total disk cylinders available: 2861 + 2 (reserved cylinders)

I then ran newfs /dev/rdsk/c0d0s0 which completed after a long pause and
several warnings:-

Any ideas how I can install Solaris to this system?

Cheers
Richard.
