well - i think the point being 1+ year now on the release
makes things seem a bit more stale .. 6+ months, 7+ months,
2010.03 would have been 9+ months and now at 2010.05 with
bits that are 11+ or 12+ months i fear for the relevance and
perception of [open]solaris in the free market .. too many
people will move [are moving] on particularly if there's not
enough there to hold their attention and nothing for developers
to dig their teeth into without having to compile incomplete
bits from the pub source

sure .. i guess i just miss being able to pull from nana
to give me the warm fuzzy that things are actually getting
fixed and there's that forward momentum
