I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know if
drivers for Intel's Pro/1000MT gigabit PCI network interfaces are
available for the SPARC version of OSOL?
I've installed Milax 0.3.2 on an E450 and it configures & uses the
on-board hme0 interface but doesn't see either the Intel E100 (100 Mbit/s)
or MT1000 gigabit PCI interface cards. I seem to remember reading
somewhere that drivers for Intel NICs were included with Solaris 10 -
would it be possible to install the driver from Sol 10 and use this with
Milax/OSOL or would I be better off getting a Sun-supported gigabit NIC?
