Eric - please ask those SPs participate in the public Internet Area
discussion. This is a request to the IETF and a decision based on
IETF consensus, not based on information known only to WG chairs and
ADs.

Alper,
You are stretching facts way past the breaking point here. Looking
back
at the thread only one person from a Service Provider has said they
prefer PANA to DHCP Auth (Lionel). One person from an SP has written
why DHCP Auth is a good idea (Roberta).
Is it surprising that the intensity of our current debate has pushed
providers into a "wait & see" mode? This debate is too important for
the outcome to depend on a small number of loud voices with vested
interests talking past each other.
I am going to encourage SPs I know to contact Jari, Ralph, Stig, &
Mark
directly. You could do the same with any SPs desiring PANA.
Hopefully
the direct feedback will give them clarity into the request on the
table.
