Greetings,
We have a G4 Mac with no modem.
We plan on using it to run Intermapper with Mac OS X. We currently run
Intermapper on a Classic OS machine, using an external modem and serial cable.
Our former coordinator purchased a serial port adapter for the G4, not knowing
that Apple doesn't support that option in OS X. We want to test and eventually
use Intermapper's builtin paging ability.
My question is, what works
better for you: Using an internal modem, or using a USB to serial
adapter?
Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.
Thanks!
Adam :-)
