We've tested InterMapper 3.7's modem paging using various built-in modem's, an external USB modem, and an older external modem connected via a KeySpan Twin Serial adapter (using KeySpan's latest OSX driver) to a beige G3. In all cases, it worked fine. With the keyspan serial adapter, InterMapper lists both serial ports in the Modem Page Settings dialog and you are responsible for choosing the correct one. We haven't tested it with any other kinds of serial adapters.
