Greetings,
I just installed a MultiTech USB Modem (MT5634ZBA-USB) on a G4 running 10.2 and 9.2. I boot into 10.2 to run Intermapper. I was trying to see if I could use PageNow (Still a 9.2 app) in the classic environment. The modem works great in 10.2. When I run PageNow...it doesnt see the modem. If I boot into 9.2. The modem works fine. I would rather run Intermapper in 10.2. Has anyone tried this?
My other question is this: Is
there any plans on adding a Suspend Paging feature in a future release of
Intermapper. I have asked before, and the answer was the dependencies...however,
unless I am reading wrong, you can only have 1 reference per map, and we would
need several ref's per map for core building switches etc. I think it would be
so much easier to have a Suspend Paging feature that, if the network is down or
there is a problem, we can go to the Mac and just click a menu to suspend the
paging and we know for sure we won't get those annoying pages when we know its
down.
Thanks in
advance!!
Adam :-)
