Ok, now that I have a fairly decent sub-map setup, I think I can kick in with some input.
1: The Map Probe shoule not be listed as DOWN when the map is reachable. The indication that something ON the map is down, does not mean the Map it self is 'down' (alias unreachable)
2: According to 1, the Map probe should only list 'DOWN' events in the Info Popup for the actual map. Otherwise it should split it into two areas:
Recent Outages:
08/14 13:01:33: DOWN for 46 seconds
<Map Unreachable events>
Recent Map Events:
08/14 13:01:33: DOWN for 55 seconds
<Events from the map, like UP/DOWN/WARN..>
3: I would like to, as mentioned in a previous mail, to be able to tell IM what 'layout' the maps are in, and what map is the 'main/entrance' map.
This would allow for navigation in the web interface.
4: [Web] Navigation between maps. We have the drill-down navigation, what about the return navigation?
What about return navigation in general? I would like to see a link to the 'parent' device/map of the current page, like:
Device Info -> Map with Device
Map with Parent map -> Parent Map[s].
I know this is probably only possible with maps linked on the local server, but that would help a lot!
