Ideally we'd be able to decide (from the list given to us by the SNMP agent) which device to monitor.
It's on my list to consider the best way to do this.
Another problem is that on my host popup window, the last several characters of the disk alarms are cut off. The last line reads "Usage of disk at index 9 e". If devices 10, 11, and 12 had errors I wouldn't know it from the popup. There's probably a limit to the number of characters that can be written to this popup, and what with all my storage devices and alarms I've passed it.
Now on the bug list--thanks.
Another problem: once I've selected the Host Resource probe type, I can't switch to another SNMP-based probe. The popup window stays stubbornly fixed on the Host Resource display. (This may be related to the text overflow bug.) If I switch the type to a Ping/Echo probe, I can then choose a different SNMP probe - such as my own custom host resource probe :)
Also now on the bug list.
I'll take a look at the probe you included.
