I have a lot of devices set to send notifications, but with 'delay' set to 1 minute.
Now, some of these devices seem to not respond to SNMP for short amounts of time, so I set the 'delay' to 1 minute.
The effect is now, with IM 4.1, that I don't get the notifications for the DOWn events, but i DO get notifications for the UP events.
Is this correct?
It was my impression that IM would not send out the UP event if the Delay setting suppressed the DOWN event.
Anyone else see this?
PS: I'm using a Command line probe on Windows 2000.
