The near-final version of InterMapper is now available. InterMapper 4.3 features
a number of significant enhancements over earlier versions, including:
- Monitoring NT services
- Importing and exporting tab-delimited files
- Geographic import: use latitude and longitude to place icons on a map
- Improved icon display
- An Interfaces window shows information about each interface on a device
- New Wireless probes for Alvarion, Canopy, EnGenius CB3, Mikrotik,
Orthogon,
Proxim, Redline, smartBridges, Trango, and Tranzeo equipment
- New installer for InterMapper Server on MacOS X.
- InterMapper Traditional is available in the InterMapper Extra's folder.
- New Installer for InterMapper Remote on Windows.
- Many miscellaneous enhancements and bug fixes
This release (4.3b4) contains the following changes from earlier test releases:
- New builds for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and FreeBSD 5
- Improved fonts for the web displays on OSX
- Many bug fixes.
