time I click or right-click on an InterMapper object there is a 10
second or more pause before it responds, this even happens on nested
menus, so when I edit a map there is a 10 second pause to bring up the
object menu and then another 10 second pause to bring up the display
menu to change the icon for instance. after that the menus come up
quickly until the next time I let InterMapper go idle or lose focus.
This can be exceptionally frustrating when the alarms are blaring and
the lights are flashing and I am trying to bring up device status
while
by boss is standing behind me.

This is exactly the kind of feedback that we need to hear. I have
filed a bug report (#48599) on your behalf and we will be looking
into the issue as soon as possible.
