We have installed the code on both a Windows and a Debian Linux Server. We note that many devices are reporting warnings of short term packet loss. We have never seen these errors before. In all cases the devices the servers are complaining about are at least two hops away. We are seeing not actual packet loss. Just the "short term' loss.

You can find the full list of new features listed at this page: http://www.intermapper.com/im45/whatsnew.html SOFTWARE STATUS This is an alpha-test version. We have implemented most of the features we expect to add in this release, and it has undergone some testing, but even we believe it still has bugs. Documentation is limited. The software is definitely usable for test environments, but should not be used as your production server. (See our warning on the "What's New..." page.) PLEASE TEST * Device Info and Network Info windows. * List/Icon/Notifier view. * Autosave, backup, revert, restore * Alarms for Packet Loss or Round Trip Time * New polling behaviors * Comment on the "3-D appearance" of the shapes and status icons. * Comment on the new menu arrangement. * Everything else :-) LINKS Download: http://www.intermapper.com/im45/binaries/test.html Release Notes: http://www.intermapper.com/im45/binaries/imtestreleasenotes45.html As always, please send comments to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks for your interest in InterMapper!
