We used Visio and a product called Snagit. www.snagit.com. I created the icons with Visio, viewed with print preview, and used Snagit to copy the Visio stencil created. I saved the Snagit capture as a JPG, resized it and imported it into Intermapper. Pretty simple. If you need more detailed info email me.
