We are currently in the process of replacing some older 6509's and 6513's
that have Sup2 engines. Their cpu usage will get quit high sometimes and
drop snmp calls in favor of more important traffic resulting in a "No SNMP
response" error message. If this is the case for you, try to find what's
causing the high cpu utilization (show processes cpu). Our older 4000
series systems display the same problem. Replacing them with 6500's.
