I'll add a modified request of this. Just don't put all newly discovered interfaces on the map by default. Let us choose what to display. I'm perfectly fine with all interfaces appearing in the interfaces list, but just don't add all 100 intefaces on the map. It takes forever and on occasion crashed the server.

I am not sure how feasible this is but it would GREATLY benefit us. Is there a way under the "Set Info / Set behavior" you can add a switch that would allow us to turn off the probing of sub-interfaces? I have dozens of routers that have hundreds of sub-interfaces and I do not need to probe these. Also it slows down the functionality of the maps when we are trying to work with them. If it only probed the main interfaces that would speed things up tremendously. We currently delete all of the sub-interfaces so that only the main interfaces exist but that also prevents us from reprobing the device as this will cause it to rediscover all of the sub-interfaces. Maybe you have another work around for this problem... ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
