On every platform except for Mac OS X, the InterMapper client reserves a maximum memory size of 1/2 the physical RAM of
the computer. This maximum size is dynamically determined at launch time. On Mac OS X, the maximum memory partition size
has to be hard-wired into the Info.plist file in the application bundle. It's been hard-wired at 128 MB for a while, but
we will likely increase this to 256 MB in 5.0.
