I have read the Readme and the commands are unix based. I'm using XP and W2K3 for the server. How do you compile it using windows?

You don't need check_ping.c; that's a C-language source file. You need to build the plugins, then take check_ping from the plugins folder, a subfolder of the folder, created when you untar the download, which contains all the binaries. So, say you downloaded "nagios-plugins-1.4.11.tar.gz". You ungzip and untar it to get "nagios-plugins-1.4.11". Once you've built the plugins, in nagios-plugins-1.4.11, there will be a folder named "plugins" which contains the binaries. These are what need to be put in the InterMapper Settings/Tools folder. If you're unsure as to how to build the plugins, there is a file in nagios-plugins-1.4.11 (or its equivalent, depending on the version you're using) named "README" which explains how to do it. -- Christopher -- ================================================ Christopher L.
