Second the CDP discovery request, because whatever it uses now is not very
reliable and often connects wrong interfaces together, especially when it
comes to unnumbered interfaces.

Subject: Re: [IM-Talk] Intermapper Newbie Question

That brings up a question about automating this process. Can
InterMapper make use of LLDP or CDP to discover and map the links
between switches?

interfaces window. You may need to select show unnumbered interfaces at the
bottom left of that window. This will give you a list of all the interfaces.
Unclick the ones you do not want to be visible on the map, and click or leave
clicked the ones you want visible.

you are joining a router or switch port to a host, and you cant SNMP poll or get
interface stats for the host, just join the route or switch port to the host,
you will only see the interface stats for the router or switch side, but that
may be good enough.
