Cisco has a method of detecting client that connect see what operating system they are running and install the newest VPN client .. If they can do it ..it is possible

This is an interesting idea if it could happen in a space-efficient manner -- my concern is that at least in my environment the IM server is not the same platform as the RA clients (the server is FreeBSD, our workstations are all Macs). To cover all bases you would have to distribute all supported RA builds, which I think could only happen if the cross-platform core of RA is easily shared (?).
