You are right I am probing the device every 10 minutes, but why the 09
minutes 51 seconds, though this is close. I will put the probe time at
30 sec. Let me see how the response looks
like.

shorten the request-time (pollintervall) for this device to 30 sec (or less)
so you can see how often you are really loosing the connection/packages.
All in all you have a problem with the device or the pass to the device.
Have a look to the next hop on the way to the InterMapper.
