Thanks for the quick response.

I went from an old Suse installation to Ubuntu 10.04 64bit, and the above KB
article and the Debian/Ubuntu install instructions seemed to cover
everything. I just had to do a bit of apt-cache'ing to figure our the java
packages (default-jre seemed to do the job).

So far so good :)
