This may be covered somewhere, but we recently upgraded to 5.3.5 (InterMapper on Mac OSX, Remote on Windows) and ran into a bit of a snag with importing maps.
Seems the 5.3.5 version would not import a map that was saved in 5.0.6. I had to import the map using an earlier version of Remote. This was imported to a backup InterMapper machine. Then I could export it using 5.3.5 from the backup machine using the 5.3.5 Remote and finally import it on the 5.3.5 machine. Based on the documentation, I'm planning on installing 5.3.5 on a new server and then copy over the "InterMapper Settings" folder from the old server into the appropriate location on the new server. Anything else to be aware of? Much thanks, Joubin ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected] ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected]
