Actually, let me correct myself. It is the 3rd back-to-back event which the probe fails to re-probe the device. e.g. open, closed, open. I am sure InterMapper have received the trap by monitoring the Event Log.

Dear InterMapper experts, I am using custom-snmp to build an event driven probe. It is a probe for a door open/closed event. I have observed that when I closed and then open quickly (within 5 seconds), the probe will not poll the device the second time. Is there a throttling period which InterMapper will not poll the device again after it receive a SNMP trap within a short period of time? Thanks, Leonard Siu Quantum Data Systems (H.K.) Ltd.
