I am trying to set the name of a device to update the address. After a while, the "Resolve name to update address" field is empty and the "Resolve address to update name" option is selected and populated with an IP address.
I am having to go back and update our maps because our Wireless Access Points do not have a set IP address, they use DHCP. When the APs get a new DHCP'd address, the old address typically ends up being issued to a student laptop. The maps are no longer dependable. Is there any way to get the "Resolve name to update address" to stick, rather than automagically switching over to "Resolve address to update name"? We are using InterMapper 5.4.2.
