Once you've set the "resolve" setting in the Set Address... dialog, the setting should stick. When you add a device (or it is added via auto-discovery), the "resolve" setting defaults to "resolve address to update name", and you must visit the Set Address... dialog to change it to "Resolve name to update address". After that one change, the setting will stick.
