Hmmm... It's almost as if you're back to the start.  Two suggestions:

1) You can try running the script from the command line and send the output. It 
should have the format:

\{ $total := 42 } Text-that-becomes-the-reason-string

2) If this doesn't work, let's turn this into a support ticket. Please send the 
probe (and the script) to [email protected] and we can work on it
