I figured it out. I am not sure why it happend but the solution was to uninstall IMDC then delete the old configs and database. After that I reinstalled the IMDC and just set it up from scratch.
It is importing data now and there are no errors in the logs. It has gone back about 6 months in 12 hours so at this rate it will be done on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
