InterMapper 5.6 includes enhanced auto-discovery, better control of data and a friendlier interface. Taken as a whole, the new capabilities make InterMapper smarter, more reliable and easier to use: * Smarter o Web server identification - InterMapper can now identify HTTP servers during auto-discovery and automatically creates probe groups to monitor them o ARP discovery - InterMapper now uses the ARP table to find additional devices during auto-discovery, broadening its view of the network o New fields available - in labels, notifiers and status windows * More Reliable o InterMapper Reports - now works on the iPad and other modern web-capable mobile devices, non-Flash UI o Data Management - additional tools to manage how data is exported to the database * Easier to Use o User Interface Enhancements - we've modernized many aspects of the user interface and are continuing to consolidate menu items and improve usability.
