We have typehints for other types? From current code I gathered an impression that zend_verify_arg_type() expects class name to be there. Anyway, why would you need typehints for scalar types?
There will be type hints for arrays too. Obviously, with PHP's dynamic typing we can't have type hints for scalar values.
