Hi everyone, I have run into a bit of a problem. I am trying to embed PHP into an application I am writing. So I checked out 5.2 from CVS and built it with the following flags. ./configure --enable-debug --enable-maintainer-zts --disable-cgi - --enable-cli --enable-embed I them wrote a simple example and compiled it with the following Makefile (taken from Extending and Embedding PHP) CC = gcc CFLAGS = -c -I/usr/local/include/php/ \ -I/usr/local/include/php/main \ -I/usr/local/include/php/Zend \ -I/usr/local/include/php/TSRM \ -Wall -g LDFLAGS = -L /usr/local/lib/ -lphp5 all: testphpembed.c $(CC) -o testphpembed.o testphpembed.c $(CFLAGS) $(CC) -o testphpembed testphpembed.o $(LDFLAGS) It all compiles fine, but when I try to run it I get the following error ./testphpembed: error while loading shared libraries: libphp5.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Looking in /use/local/lib shows that libphp5.so is there, and it doesn't seem to complain during compile time. Any pointers would be great.
