Maybe we could agree on using phar as a means of deploying PHP code, as I pointed out earlier? Otherwise it seems, as Greg has pointed out, that PEAR as it is will become pretty useless with the release of PHP6.
We could. But you don't need no extensions for that. If PHP6 makes PEAR useless, we probably should deal with *that* problem, shouldn't we?
