Many users, for many tasks, have absolutely zero need to do any OOP at
all.

And bloating their PHP for OOP they don't need with no way to un-bloat
it annoys them.

For me personally, if I want to do *real* OOP, I wouldn't use PHP at
all and would use Common Lisp.

And, no, I'm not joking.
