As I've not worked in a language with formal annotations, I still don't grok the use case. To those supporting some form of syntactic annotations (whatever the syntax), can you please explain, simply and preferably with examples, what I could do with such syntax that I cannot do now in user-space, and/or what I could do better/faster/cheaper with such tools than what I can do now in user-space?
