I recently reinstalled Ion3 after updating my system to a new linux distro, and everything seemed to progress as expected. I installed Lua 5.1.1 and the most recent ion3 I found on the server, i.e. ion-3ds-20060524. It looked as it had under Slackware, which was what I was running previously, and so I was unworried. Until I discovered that there is no system tray anymore. I am using the same scripts and configuration files I had previously, and having gone through them I can see nothing out of the ordinary. In cfg_statusbar.lua there is an entry "systray=true" and in my template I have %systray. There were no errors on installation and so I am confused as to why there is no system tray. I hope perhaps somebody can make a suggestion of what I am doing wrong.
