I don't consider this a bug, although the implementation could be better.
The "autocomplete bar" is a top-level window like drop-down menus and 
the easiest way to keep track whether to display it is to just grab
the keyboard and mouse.

I can't make this happen, matter how much I try. I'm using the gtk1
Firefox, The Mozilla on my home 'puter is probably gtk2-based as it
defaulted to uglyfonts, and it has problems. (Damn network has been
down since last night...)
