I would like to see the binaries renamed to ion3, the share dir become /usr/share/ion3, the manpage renamed to ion3.1 (plus whatever other changes are required) so that ion2 and ion3 can be installed alongside each other. This will encourage me to test ion3 because I can then easily fall back to my lovely personalised virtually-perfect stable ion2 configuration :-) Yes, I could do this in the Gentoo ebuild myself but it's a lot of hassle to go through every time a new ion-3ds snapshot is released. -- Tom
