Is there any alternative that would correctly handle different sized displays connected to each other? Visit http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01639.html After reading this I took it to mean that if everything was configured correctly Ion and X should "just work" with multiple displays of different resolutions. > i don't know if there bugs on OS X, but normally, if ion is compiled > with xinerama support it supports multiple screens quite nicely. Ion would appear to have been compiled with xinerama support because it shows on all three screens - but then again it was installed using fink. What difference does xinerama make to Ions behaviour? > you can even change workspaces on one screen at a time. I am sorry but I don't quite understand what you are saying. Could you elaborate on that point? Thank you! Noah
