(Ion revision 1934.) When running XMMS in WindowShade mode (press Ctrl+W), its vertical size is just 14 pixels or so (less than the size of the tab bar).
Now when I split the frame vertically, have the XMMS window as a single window in the bottom frame and try to resize the frame (with Alt+R and arrow Up), the frame gets resized to a height of 20 pixels, which is exactly the height of the tab bar on my system. So the XMMS window contained in the frame is not visible, only the tab bar. Another problem occurs when I run _:toggle_tabbar() in the small frame. Then the resizing works as expected, but after restarting Ion, the frame has its tab bar back again.
