(1) Comparing YouTube and Google Maps - if you enter a maps.google.com-
based URL in iPhone Safari, then the Maps app is displayed. However,
if you enter a youtube.com-based URL, either general or video
specific, it displays the public web site inside Safari.

(2) Ok, good thoughts. Like Amazon did recently with their iPhone beta
- notify users of the iPhone specific site, but offer the users a
choice of which they would like to use.
