I"ve never loved MS, the less so from having to code with their insane
C++ libraries.  I'm much happier with C# however.

In any case, I have to say this:  I'm impressed by the kids running
Microsoft these days... if only because they all have public blogs and
actually answer questions put to them.   I still think they get a lot
of stuff wrong, but you can actually see and hear them trying and
asking what we want.

I bring this up in comparison to the dead secrecy of Apple.   First, I
feel sorry for the iPhone engineers and other programmers... they'll
never get the public recognition that they should get.   Worse from my
standpoint, we out here never know which direction Apple will blow
next.  It'd be nice to have some open dialog.
