inform you that I'm in contact with Sean Gilligan and hopefully we
will have a working demo soon.

In the meanwhile you can have a look at http://bit.ly/bjqVsB
(simulator or real device) for a sneak preview (not ready for
production, but working).
Matteo and I have been communicating about both the iScroll extension for the 0.40 release and longer term plans for a deeper integration. Stay tuned...

Here's another working demo from April 3, 2010:
http://msgilligan.appspot.com/samples/music-tabs/music-artists.html
(works best on iPhone/iPod touch in Mobile Safari or webapp mode)
This demo has an iPhone-style tab bar where each "tab" loads a seperate HTML file. In the demo there are only two tabs and clicking on the tab bar toggles between them (despite the fact that the image shows 5 tabs)

The latest demos on the staging server and in Mercurial are in not-as-good of shape because the refactoring for iPad support is incomplete. This work is cutting edge and you should only get involved if you are very comfortable with the iUI and/or iScroll source. The best place for discussing this work is on the iui-developers Google Group.

I have also started a wiki page for this subproject that we'll try to update with important information.

The plan is that iScroll and iPad support will be in the 0.40 release. The updated schedule is that there will be a beta towards the end of htis month and a final in mid/late July. I'm assuming I'm going to have plenty of help, so please come over to iui-developers if you are willing and able to help.

Thanks,

Sean
